Grimby: No its not, if Windows 8 laptops arn't shipping with a product key sticker, what am I supposed to enter? am I supposed to use a software tool to get the Windows 8 product key off the laptop. If Windows 8 laptops don't ship with a COA anymore, what is the Microsoft approved way of getting that key from the system? I know of tools like "produkey", is that what i'm supposed to use? Will that work? and will I still be able to use Windows 7 Pro on my old laptop? or does it need to be a volume license key?
